Our Story

The Youth Path Foundation – Our Story

In the summer of 2024, 14-year-old Jayan visited Genetics Associates, a for-profit DNA diagnostic lab in Nashville, Tennessee, where his brother Madhavan was beginning a summer internship. During this visit, they met Dr. Dev, the owner of the lab, who shared the story of the Center for Medical Genetics (CMG)—a nonprofit DNA laboratory he founded in India dedicated to serving underprivileged communities, preventing birth defects, and providing life-saving genetic testing for children with cancer.

Deeply inspired, Jayan and Madhavan expressed their desire to contribute to this mission. In the summer of 2025, Dr. Dev invited them to his residence for an in-depth discussion about the future of CMG. Recognizing their passion and commitment, he entrusted them with the responsibility of sustaining the lab’s mission for the next generation. From this turning point, The Youth Path Foundation was born, with Jayan serving as Founder and Madhavan as Co-Founder, leading efforts to support CMG and expand its impact.

Our Goal

The Youth Path Foundation has set an initial target of $50,000 to ensure the CMG lab continues its critical work, offering affordable, high-quality genetic diagnostics to underprivileged communities and saving the lives of children battling cancer.

The Encouragement Factor

The $50,000 fundraising goal was not set lightly. It was the unwavering encouragement of friends, family, and, most importantly, the Directors of The Youth Path Foundation that made this commitment possible. Their belief in the mission and their dedication to providing consistent financial support year after year created the foundation for this ambitious goal.

Their leadership and guidance continue to inspire the youth-led team to dream big, act, and ensure the Center for Medical Genetics can carry on its life-saving work for underprivileged children and communities in need.

“The Youth Path Foundation is proud to be recognized as a federally approved 501(c)(3) non-profit, ensuring transparency and accountability in all our programs.”
